Light in the darkness

Too fast for me, the days are getting shorter and even the autumn/ winter daylight is different (less bright) than in spring/ summer. My plan is to make my house more bright step by step. My inspiration comes from these stunning white interiors that I'm sharing with you today.

What I absolutely love about it are the beautiful white walls with high ceilings, light floors, simple but wonderful styled with a touch of black & wood and these large windows where the daylight can play with the shades of white and decorate your room with beautiful shadows.

They create a Scandinavian feeling that I love so much. I live in a old house (1920) with a lot of windows in my living room (8) and high ceilings. I would love to have new window blinds like on photo 3. They would perfectly control the daylight in my home. Especially for my 3 bay windows during summer.

These blinds make it easy to adjust the incoming daylight, as it can be positioned anywhere in the window seeing that it's not fixed either at the top or at the bottom. This provides privacy and greater control of sunlight. They would be perfect for my living and dining room where I have in total 4 windows. What do you think?

I almost forget to tell you: I'm so happy that I reached 10.000 followers on Pinterest and 1.000 on Instagram: thank you so much followers and of course I hope to meet you there :)
